Norwegian Youth Choir and Osnabrücker Jugendchor – St. John’s Church

Founded in 1987, the Norwegian National Youth Choir annually brings together 40 of Norway’s finest young singers between the ages of 16 and 26 for performances of a diverse repertoire of music, from renaissance and romantic music, national and international folk music to contemporary music.

The choir has participated in several national and international choral festivals and competitions, and has won several prizes through the years. The Norwegian National Youth Choir is supported with funds from the Norwegian Cultural Council and is administrated by the Norwegian federation of young choirs.
